Shipping/Order Processing Information
Orders are typically completed within the first 5 business days after being placed. As all of our waistbeads are handmade to order and custom-fit, please allow appropriate time for your orders to be meticulously crafted and shipped. During holidays and busy seasons, we recommend allowing up to 14 business days (approximately 3 weeks) for us to create your works of art. While orders are usually processed within the first week, the 3-week processing period allows us the time we need to create a quality product for all of our customers when the workload is the heaviest.
Once orders are handmade according to order processing schedule, they are shipped on the next business day after the order is completed. The USPS suggests allowing 2-7 days mail time when shipping via USPS First Class/Ground Advantage. Shipping Upgrade options for USPS Priority Mail and Priority Express are available for domestic shipments. All orders are shipped with tracking information and delivery confirmation.

Since all items are custom-made to order, orders cannot be canceled or refunded once the order has been submitted. DIY waistbeads kits cannot be returned or refunded since a great deal of effort and significant cost goes into procuring and putting together the specialized DIY Waistbeads Serenity Box kits.
We guarantee delivery of all orders. In the event that a package is lost in the mail after we ship the package (the customer has not received the merchandise AND delivery confirmation has not been provided with the tracking updates), we will work with the USPS to locate the package to ensure delivery or replace the package is the USPS is unable to complete delivery. Our policy is to replace the customer's merchandise if the USPS is not successful in locating the lost package. In the event that merchandise needs to be replaced, all items must be duplicated as stated in the original order (duplication of style and size as stated in original order). Orders cannot be refunded but they will be replaced. We guarantee delivery of purchased merchandise. Domestic customers, please contact us 10 days after your order is shipped to receive an update if you have not received your package. International customers outside the United States, please contact us 3 weeks after shipment if you have not received your merchandise.
International Customers
Orders are typically sent via USPS First Class International Mail. This is the most economical method, but please contact us to request other available shipping options.
International First Class Mail, depending on where you're located, can take two to four weeks to arrive. Mail can sometimes get delayed in customs.
Please contact us to upgrade to International Priority Mail, which typically arrives in six to ten business days (for most countries)

Returns & Exchanges
All Royal Waistbeads are custom-made to size and are personal in nature; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges once your item has been made. However, we will work with you to provide size adjustments as necessary.
We will make your waistbeads according to the length specified in your original order or a new size if you notify us as soon as possible, before we have begun making your waistbeads. We ask that you measure yourself carefully in the position of your midsection where you want your waistbeads to hang before placing your order as a fee will apply to resize your waistbeads once the order is completed. When measuring yourself, the tape measure should be snug but not too tight.
Orders cannot be canceled or refunded once the order has been submitted.
Size Adjustments
If you find that you need a different size after you have received your order, a small fee will apply to cover labor, return postage, and the price difference for the new size if it is larger. The fee will be communicated on a case-by-case basis, as it depends on the materials of your specific piece(s). Some size adjustments can be made quickly while others require that all the beads be re-threaded on a new wire strand.
One of a Kind Items
Because all items are handmade and custom made to fit, no two items are exactly alike. While we ALWAYS maintain the integrity of the original design, there may be slight variations in the design to accommodate the length and/or supplies on hand. For example, if you are ordering the Queen and Kings I, your design may contain a shorter or longer length of solid black beads in between the color mix section of beads to accommodate your specific size. In addition, the pattern of the color mix in an example style is random so no two waistbeads will have the exact same order of colors in the mixed bead lines. Likewise, if your waistbeads contain gemstones, metal accent beads or other accent beads, it is possible that the metal, gemstone or other accent piece may take on a varying shape based on supplies but the integrity of the design will remain and value of the item will be consistent or higher than the photographed sample.
Sterling Silver Components
Please also be advised that we use sterling silver clasps, sterling silver closed rings, sterling silver wire protectors and sterling silver wire closures in all our styles with silver finishes. We also use tiny smooth round sterling silver ball beads in some styles where specified in the product listing. However, when it is necessary to use a coiled ring/split ring that looks like a small key-chain ring, we use silver color or silver-plated coil rings. Due to the fragility of sterling silver coil rings, we are unable to use sterling coil rings in our designs. If you order a multi-strand set where the waistbeads are connected to a single clasps, the connector coil ring will not be sterling silver. Also, the silver metal accent beads in the gemstone designs will also be silver-plated, pewter or silver color and may lose their color over time, particularly after repeated exposure to water. Please contact us to learn which designs will use only sterling silver components before ordering if this is of concern.
TIE-ON WAISTBEADS WITH STRING VS WAISTBEADS WITH A CLASP
The custom-made waistbeads available in our Royal Waistbeads shop are designed to be removable. This means we create the waistbeads with high quality beading wire and a clasp/ring closure system that allows you to put your waistbeads on and take them off anytime you desire. All of the waistbeads in our shop (except for items in the DIY Tie-On Waistbeads Kits) are delivered to customers fully-completed with a clasp and ready-to-wear.
The clasp method requires additional metal components and tools but gives customers ready-to-wear, custom-fit to size and removable-style waistbeads created just for them. For customers who want tie-on waistbeads or want to create their own waistbeads at home without needing a complex set of tools and metal closure pieces, we offer the Serenity Box DIY Tie-On Waistbeads Kit.
Tie-on waistbeads are made with thread/string and tie around your waist without the need for a clasp. Tie-on waistbeads stay around your waist until you cut them off with scissors. Once tie-on waistbeads are cut off, the beads can be saved and recycled into a new strand of waistbeads with a new piece of string if you ever decide to cut your tie-on waistbeads off for any reason.
